APT Workplace Pensions Limited and APT Wealth Management Limited were formed in 1999 and quickly established themselves as specialists in the pension management arena.

Our client base includes a host of multinational and indigenous corporate pension clients, along with an excess of 1,000 individual clients who are now in retirement.

APT has been hugely successful in delivering pension management services to a wide variety of businesses across various industries and now manage in excess of €1bn for 55,000 members across  120 Workplace Pensions.

Our Dublin team is comprised of 40 professional staff, dedicated to providing service to our clients across the various disciplines:- consulting, investment consulting, pension administration and information technology.

There is little doubt that better outcomes emerge for members where good governance measures are applied to the management of Workplace Pensions. Good governance is good policy!
To this end, we publish our Corporate Governance Plan, maintain a full-time compliance department, operate a fitness & probity regime for senior appointments, and adopt a risk-based approach to compliance monitoring.

We maintain a controlled environment in which our objectives and processes are clearly defined for each aspect of our business. Our internal controls are audited annually under the International Standard on Assurance Engagements ISAE 3402, which gives you the comfort of independent assurance.

A fellow of the Irish Institute of Pension Managers and Qualified Financial Advisor, Vincent’s career stretches back over 30 years. Prior to co-founding APT, Vincent was a Director of Aon Consulting, a global employee benefit practice, operating in over 500 countries. Vincent is vastly experienced in pension matters and advises some of Ireland’s largest DC pension schemes.

Kirstyn Switzer is a founding Director of APT Workplace Pensions Limited and APT Wealth Management Limited, Kirstyn is responsible for operations. A fellow of the Irish Institute of Pension Managers and Qualified Financial Advisor, Kristyn’s career stretches back over 25 years. Prior to founding APT, Kirstyn was Pensions Administration Manager at Aon Consulting, a global employee benefit practice, operating in over 500 countries.
